Solution: Customized software that detects the main parameters of earthquakes in real-time and displays an intensity map.

Objectives of the Project

Development of the multiplex network that transfers seismic information from the different points to the central server, which will analyze the data and create various reports and calculations that will be accessible via a web interface. 

 To enhance the reliability and continuity of the system, the network should be multiplex. The objective of the Work accordingly is the establishment of the network communications for the System. 

Project Steps 

     1. Programming of 3G & ADSL multiplex network, as well as reception program for central Linux server

  • Planning the design and algorithm of the program for the approval of the Team.
  • Establishment of 3G & ADSL multiplex network program and reception program for Linux server (sending/receiving data).
  • Provision of the Linux server and network equipment of the System.

     2.   Installation and adjustment of network equipment

  • Planning the process flow for installation and adjustment of network equipment
  • Installation and adjustment of network equipment (VRRP Router, ADSL Modem, 3G network device, and so on) for five (5) sets of acceleration meters and one (1) server.
  • Provision of the network equipment of the System.

    3.   Formulation of a web system

  • Planning the design and algorithm of the system for the approval of the Team.
  • Establishment of the web system using PHP, JavaScript, Database, and so on.
  • Provision of the seismic intensity distribution calculation algorithm.
  • In case the contractor hopes for using the payware, the contractor bears all costs concerning the payware purchase. Moreover, the contractor shall transfer the right of the payware to the Team.
  • This activity will be from the start of the Work to mid-November.

     4. Testing of the whole system

  • Testing of the operation of the whole system mentioned above.

Result

Successfully achieved project objective of developing an earthquake detection software. DevelopWay delivered the customized software which detects the main parameters of earthquakes in real-time and displays an intensity map. We were able to send the package on time, also went the extra mile to determine the most efficient way to implement the solution.
