Mondi is a company with a high percentage of digitization of its business processes. All production processes are supported by SAP software. Some HR and Health processes have not yet been implemented digitally in a formalized and standardized digital process using a dedicated tool for this purpose.

Our solution

Our solution is vital to standardize the approach to the process handling related to recruitment and staff coordination in 4 group plants. The software needed to include the handling of initial, periodic training, the inventory, and the validity period of the position rights of all internal employees. The processes are carried out to consider both the internal requirements of the Mondi bags group and, above all, the legal requirements regarding the format of documents and the duration of training and allowances.

Value we added

Inside an application, we built such modules as the allocation and inventory of work clothes for individual positions and the module of measurement of environmental parameters for individual production machines. The measurements made in the module are automatically presented on the orders of periodic tests of production personnel. The app launch of standardized and automated HR and Health processes and safety significantly reduced the time of formal reporting in these areas.

Future perspective

At the moment, the Mondi HR application combines four factories and makes it easy to find various information about an employee depending on the needs of the request. The application is automatically updated and has a high level of security.

Mondi’s pipeline currently includes around €1 billion of expansionary projects already approved and continues to consider further capital investment opportunities actively.

Due to the company's report, performance was strong across the Group in the first half of 2022, with underlying EBITDA from continuing operations of €942 million, up 66% year-on-year. Our vertical integration, the agility of the company's organisation and strong collaboration with the customers ensured Mondi delivered at a time when supply chains continued to be disrupted around the world.
